Role Overview
We’re hiring a Software Test Engineer to strengthen our QA team and elevate product quality. You’ll be a critical part of our development lifecycle — designing test strategies, automating workflows, and ensuring we ship bug-free, high-performance code.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Create and maintain automated tests using tools like Selenium or Playwright
- Collaborate with developers during sprint planning and code reviews
- Track defects using JIRA and work closely with engineering to resolve them
- Contribute to QA documentation and continuously improve testing standards
- Provide feedback on UX, performance, and edge-case behavior
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Experience with both manual and automation testing
- Strong grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices
- Proficiency in writing test scripts using JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, Git, JIRA
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of API testing (RESTful services)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ISTQB Certification or similar QA credentials
